CLASSROOM/CAMPUS ENVIRONMENT
2a. Creating an environment of respect and rapport

We always struggle with meeting the expectations of teachers for fix and repair versus Coaching at Carver. This year my Action Plan was focused on trying to correct this issue from the past. Our Action plan was developed with face to face communication and clear procedures outlined for teachers to follow. In the Fall all teachers were shown where the form for Technology Assistance was linked as well as Level Up.
It was a requirement that all teachers complete Level Up 1 this year. Carver and Victory came very close. This led to better communication of needs from the staff and a quicker response time to requests for coaching. The relationships built this year led to teachers using their coaching to become more efficient in technology preparedness.

2c. Organizing and repairing technology resources
Carver had a record year for tech requests. With over 222 requests the procedure of placing a tech request created a quicker response time for needs. The biggest reported problem was the integration of Oasys and MLP into Frontline. Face to face training on the merger was necessary to ensure all teachers could meet deadlines.
2e. Organizing physical space
The following Gallery contains examples of student work with 3-D and 2-D modeling, testing assistance, sketchnoting, Chromebook rollout, ABN organization and student use of devices.
